ALERT!

Phony Virus Scam is infected on many web pages, and attempts to mask itself as your anti virus program.

There is a virus going around, located on some web sites, that will check and see which Anti Virus that you have, send up a popup that looks like your anti-virus, but it will it say something similar to "Anti-Virus 2009" where the name of your normal anti-virus is located. This is a scam and the information displayed is false. It is a web page (popup)sized to look like a program and shows the same virus results for everyone. Do not click on the window! If so, it will execute and install multiple Mal ware programs like trojans on your computer. Take one of the following steps if you see this as the progam prevents itself from being click closed.

1. Click the off-on button on your computer to shut it down. Then restart computer at your discretion.

2. Go to bottom left hand corner, click the start menu and log off your computer, this will shut down your browser.

3. Hold down "ctrl alt del",or right click on bottom task bar, and open up "Task Manager". From the "Process" Tab, click "iexplorer.exe" or "firefox.exe" (which ever you use as browser) and click on "End Process" at bottom left.......this will close your browser.

Attempting to click close your browser or closing the pop-up virus can result in programs being installed on your computer!

If it doesn't say the name of your anti-virus, do the above.
